Dear Humans,
What can I say
It could not be
Any other way

Nothing else has worked
To slow you down
To make you see
Your feet are NOT on the ground

Why do you all move so fast
I do not know
But one thing is for sure
It’s time to grow

It’s time to see
You are all ONE
Without this understanding
Life just isn’t fun

You pretend that it is
This I can see
But one way or another
You’ll learn it’s not all about Me

It’s time for you to learn
That you’re all the same
Beyond different statuses,
Faces and names

I, the Corona Virus,
am here to root it all out
To expose all the toxins
And leave you no doubt
You NEED one another
This can’t be denied
No matter how much
You try and try

So use this opportunity
To gang up on me
And know that even I
Am a part of the We

I didn’t come from nowhere
You know this to be true
I came inspired by
Each and every one of you

Not the separate you
Who thinks it’s apart
But from the Greater You
The one who lives in the Heart

I tell you this
And let me be clear
When you live from the Heart
There is nothing to fear

So do your best
To live from that space
And allow something greater
To takes its place

That something greater
Is what it’s all about
The very thing
I came to root out

Despite some resistance
It’s happening now
You job is NOT to know
Exactly how

Your job is to let go
To Surrender to the now
And sooner or later
You will see how

Humanity is being re-born
Right before you eyes
Never again
Will it live in disguise

Humanity first
Is becoming the new Mantra in life
As more and more of you
Start shining your light

Don’t worry about others
Who are not on board right now
They are suffering even more
Though you might not see how
They are doing their best
To do what they think it right
But haven’t yet learned
To give up the fight

So keep shining your light
And show others the way
It won’t be long
Before you’ll all see might brighter days

Love,

The Corona Virus

Thanks for sharing Dan. I always enjoy reading your emails.
Funny I drew a card from one of my oracle decks and I asked for surrender guidance during this time. I drew the card “Trust.” Just what I needed. I’m trusting the process and I know as a community we will all get through this.

I was going through my SPAM and found your poem. I love how simple, honest, and true it is. I’ve teaching people to slow down for years and I’m definitely a proponent of “slowness.” I do believe this virus is a call to shift our conscious and remember our Oneness.
Thanks for sharing and could I share this with others?

Dan, your poem is very good and from the heart. I believe I know of another in your family who also has a good heart. I thank your parents for a job well done.
